6Al-4V TITANIUM
6Al-4V Titanium is one of the most commonly used Titanium Grades in Aerospace.
Titanium metals are used heavily in aerospace and marine components due to the high tensile strength to density ratio, high corrosion, crack, and creep resistance. Depending on the application, titanium can be alloyed with zirconium, vanadium, aluminum, or other elements to make the components more robust.
6Al-4V Titanium is significantly stronger than other commercially pure titanium whilst still retaining the same stiffness and thermal properties.
