410 Stainless per AMS 5613 is a 12% chromium martensitic stainless steel and is well suited for use in highly stressed parts where corrosion resistance, good strength and ductility are needed. 410 is used for steam / gas turbine blades and buckets, bushings, valve components, fasteners, nuclear reactor control rod mechanisms, petrochemical equipment and machine parts.
