Incoloy 330 Nickel-Iron-Chromium Alloy
Incoloy 330, which is also known as UNS N08330, is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy formulated for the absolute best in oxidation and carburization resistance in harsh, high-temperature industrial situations. Silicon is included to provide stability to the alloy’s surface and keep scaling under control when the alloy is exposed to long-term temperatures. This alloy has excellent mechanical strength as an austenitic alloy due to its stabilizing phase that holds up well in high-temperature situations.
Specifically developed for use in the heat treatment of materials, furnace parts, and chemical processes, this Incoloy 330 stays strong while preserving surface quality in oxidizing as well as reducing environments, making it one of the most reliable materials for use in such applications.
Applications of Incoloy 330
Used in industrial heating for furnace muffles, retorts, conveyor systems and heat-treating baskets and fixtures.
What Are The Properties of Incoloy 330 ?
Exceptional resistance to oxidation and carburization
Maintains high tensile strength up to 2100 °F (1150 °C)
Excellent thermal stability and creep resistance
Superior performance under cyclic heating and cooling
Good weldability and fabrication characteristics
These features make Incoloy 330 ideal for applications requiring durable, long-term exposure to heat, gas, and metal vapors.
