GMS3009 Nickel Alloy 625
GMS3009 / GMS 3009 is the Gulfstream Aerospace company’s material specification standard for their version of Nickel Alloy 625, UNS No. 06625, that describes materials that resist both corrosion and heat well. This tubing is used primarily in the hydraulic or pneumatic systems of aircraft due to their resistance to constant stresses, or vibrations. The spec describes the tubing’s necessary properties to meet requirements.
GMS3009 / GMS 3009 is a similar callout to AMS 5581 for Inconel 625 / Nickel 625. Nickel 625 Tubing is generally used for Hydraulic systems in Aircraft manufacturing
Where is Inconel 625 used?
- CHEMICAL PROCESSING
- JET ENGINE COMPONENTS
- FLARE STACKS
- ENGINE EXHAUST SYSTEMS
- SUBMARINE AUXILIARY PROPULSION MOTORS
- POLLUTION CONTROL EQUIPMENT
- NUCLEAR REACTORS
Like other Tier 1 Aerospace Manufacturers, Gulfstream Aerospace has its own set of quality requirements for materials. Fighter Jet Metals will work with you on your next project to ensure that GMS3009 is sourced correctly.
