NICKEL X-750 per AMS 5747
AMS 5747 is a SAE International specification for Nickel X-750, a nickel chromium alloy with good corrosion and heat resistance. It specifies bars, forgings, flash weld rings, and stock for forging or making flash weld rings. The strength of the Nickel X-750 comes from titanium and aluminum, which allow for precipitation hardening. It offers superior high-temperature properties, good oxidation resistance, and stress-rupture strength.
