MSRR 6906
MSRR 6906 is a high-performance aircraft-grade steel produced by Rolls-Royce which is designed to withstand extreme temperatures and high levels of stress.
MSRR 6906 specifications defined Jethete M152 as a high-speed steel with exceptional creep-resistant properties as well as good corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical capabilities in terms of performance at elevated temperatures (up to 560 °C). Due to its exceptional toughness and creep rupture strength, this grade is most commonly used for critical components in turbine engines and other high-stress applications in the aerospace industry.
Typical Applications of MSRR 6906
Materials conforming to MSRR 6906 are specifically used in high-performance aerospace engines. Common applications include:
- Turbine blades
- Turbine discs
- High-strength screws and bolts
- Engine rings
- Other highly stressed structural components
Typical Applications of MSRR 6906
Jethete M152 is a type of stainless steel that is very tough and resistant to corrosion while at the same time possessing excellent strength properties. It is increasingly being used in the aerospace industry, the military, and heavy industries. It is a preferred material because it has excellent tensile strength, above 1700 MPa, and can withstand extreme conditions without failing.
