MSRR 6503 Stainless Steel
MSRR 6503 is the Rolls-Royce material standard for stainless steel Jethete M152, which is one of the highest strength stainless steel alloys available and has been developed specifically for use in high-temperature applications such as aerospace turbine and engine components.
The properties of Jethete M152 according to the standard MSRR 6503 are those associated with hardened and tempered stainless steel, providing exceptional creep resistance, corrodability, and mechanical properties. It is usually applied in applications where rotating components made of high-stressed materials are used in aircraft engines or similar products for use at or below high temperatures up to 560°C (1040°F), but it is also effective at lower temperatures.
Jethete M152 will retain superior toughness and high levels of creep rupture strength, allowing for reliable long-term performance in challenging aerospace service conditions.
Applications of MSRR 6503 Jethete M152
Jethete M152 meeting the MSRR 6503 specification is commonly used in:
• Aerospace turbine blades and turbine discs
• High-temperature engine fasteners
• Structural components exposed to thermal stress
• Screws, bolts, and rings for turbine assemblies
What is Jethete M152 ?
Jethete M152 is a type of stainless steel that is very tough and resistant to corrosion while at the same time possessing excellent strength properties. It is increasingly being used in the aerospace industry, the military, and heavy industries. It is a preferred material because it has excellent tensile strength, above 1700 MPa, and can withstand extreme conditions without failing.
