MTS 1424-1 - MTU Aero Engines Specification for INCONEL 718 Bars & Forgings
MTS 1424-1 is MTU Aero Engines’s material specification for INCONEL 718 (UNS N07718) in bar or forging form. It defines the specifications required for Nickel 718 materials utilized within MTU jet engines in order to meet the most exacting requirements for durability and thermal properties while exposed to stress conditions.
Material Overview
MTS 1421-1 offers exceptional tensile and creep-rupture strength at temperatures up to 1300°F (704°C), combined with oxidation and corrosion resistance up to 1800°F (982°C).
